On the first art day for children this summer, we study the principles of sculpture based on the exhibition of Aime Kuulbusch – what is it made of, and why. Everybody can try to be a sculptor and make their own sculpture. What will it be, a portrait of a friend or something more abstract, and what material will be used (clay or anything else), will become clear by the end of the day.

On the handicraft day in July we will take a journey through the time, the result of which will be a spatial work of art, which can be taken back home.

XII International Hot Glass Symposium "Interplay"

This year the Hot Glass Symposium concentrates on the interaction of glass and the surrounding environment, and research of its optics, reflections and interplay with light. The symposium and exhibition brings together professional glass artists from Germany, Turkey, Latvia, Estonia etc.

The objective of the art day is to arouse interest in making art in children, and to show through the activities in Evald Okas Museum that art museum is also a place worth to visit. This time the art day for children is dedicated to “Sun”. We will mix warm colour shades, try to discover the smile of sun through colours, and paint a happy summer picture.
